Order Problems and Product Questions

Credit Card Payments

When an order is placed on Kiefer.com, an amount is authorized on your credit card. This authorization will impact the amount available to spend on your credit card, and for that reason, we have decided to initially authorize just $0.50. If for any reason, you credit card is not approved, your available to spend amount has then only been impacted by $0.50. Once confirmation has been received from our credit card processor that the transaction will be approved, the full amount of the order is authorized.

Amounts authorized at the time of the order are settled only when we ship the order, and only for the products we ship. If an amount has not been settled, the authorization will expire in 3 to 5 days from the initial authorization depending on your bank. That is when the $0.50 is removed from your account.

Account Access

Creating an account is easy! To create a new account, please click the "Create Account" link at the top of any page. You will be instructed to enter your first name, last name, email address and chosen password.

To access a current account, please click the "Login" link at the top of any page. You will be instructed to enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Your Password?" link. Enter your email address, click "Change Password" and we will email you instructions for updating your password. 

Managing Account Information

Once logged in, you can update your account information by clicking the "Go To Account" button on the login screen or selecting "Manage Account" at the top of any page. There you can change your email address, password, billing information and shipping addresses. In addition, you can view past orders and your wish list. You can also enter your Swim Team Code if applicable.

Password Help

If you have forgotten your password, please click the "Login" link at the top of any page. Then click the "Forgot Your Password?" link. Enter your email address, click "Change Password" and we will email you instructions for updating your password. 

Prices and Sales Tax

All prices are FOB Zion, Illinois or point of origin. Sales tax is based on shipping address and will be applied to all Illinois and Wisconsin destinations, unless a resale/exemption number is on file. We reserve the right to correct website mistakes and update without prior notice.

Kiefer Customer Service is happy to discuss quantity discounts. Please call 800-323-4071 to discuss your needs.

International, APO/FPO and PO Box Shipping Policies

International Order Destinations:
All orders with international shipping destinations will be shipped in a single shipment once all products are in stock. International customers should choose "International" as their Shipping Method during the checkout process.

APO and FPO order destinations:
Choose "USPS" for orders delivering to APO & FPO and other overseas locations - other carriers will not deliver to these locations.

PO Box order destinations:
Choose "USPS" for orders delivering to PO Box destinations - other carriers will not deliver to these locations.

First Time Customers

In an effort to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, Adolph Kiefer and Associates, Inc. requires FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES to prepay their order using one of the following methods:

  • Check drawn on US Bank (7 - 11 day delay for check clearance)
  • Wire transfer
  • Letter of Credit

Orders submitted for fulfillment that use any other method of payment will not be authorized to ship.

Bank transaction fees will be added to orders as follows:

  •  International bank fee - $45.00
  • Domestic bank fee - $45.00

Swimwear Care

Do not machine wash. Do rinse in fresh water and hang dry after use. Do not put in laundry dryer or store wet. Please be aware that certain light colored swimsuits (i.e. red, white), even with double liners still have degrees of transparency when wet. Colors cannot be guaranteed completely sun or colorfast. Dark primary colors are generally more colorfast than bright colors.
